Intelligent optics.
Nothing extra on the rifle.
SI Scopes is developing a lightweight, split-architecture aiming platform. The computation and power move off the optic and onto the shooter — leaving a balanced, mechanically simple sight that still delivers a full environmental firing solution.
A lighter optic that still does the math.
Four design decisions set the platform apart from today's heavy, screen-driven smart scopes.
Weight off the weapon
The processor and battery live in a body-worn hub, not on the rifle. The optic stays light and balanced — built in titanium and composite to minimize mass high over the bore.
Sensing with no moving parts
A thermal wind sensor integrated into the housing reads local air movement with nothing to jam, freeze, or break — and blends with external wind sources for the firing solution.
Aim by cue, not by reading
A high-contrast, non-numeric indicator tells the shooter when the sight is adjusted to the solution and level — no small text to decode under stress or in bright daylight.
A sight that always works
A passive, power-independent reticle remains usable if the electronics are ever off — so the platform degrades to a dependable traditional optic rather than a dead screen.
Sense at the weapon. Compute on the body.
- ▸The optical module carries the glass, the passive reticle, the sensors, and a simple indicator — and nothing heavy.
- ▸A detachable link runs sensor data down to the hub and indicator commands back up, with a break-away coupling so a snagged cable disengages cleanly.
- ▸The remote hub holds the power and the processor, running the ballistic solution and driving the aiming cue in real time.
- ▸A companion app manages load profiles and syncs the active one to the hub over an authenticated link.
